CEO Branding is a new phenomenon; let’s examine the basics

CEO Branding is about positioning the CEO as the ‘face’ of the company in order to attract more attention, leads, business and bottom-line revenue. Well known leaders with a strong CEO brand are Steve Jobs, Richard Branson, Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates and Elon Musk. Their positive public reputation allows them to bind people to their business and cause, wherever their endeavors take them.

 

A strong CEO Brand can be built by being a) present in multiple ways, b) authentic and c) in possession of thought leadership. The required scale and frequency of displays varies, as company leaders must appeal to specific target audiences they wish to influence.

At White Oaks, we help determine your CEO brand and set up a time-limited campaign accordingly. This could entail us (ghost)writing a book, securing a TEDx stage for your thoughts, arranging on and offline media interviews and whatever else lets you connect to the world.
